Former Kansas Make-A-Wish recipient spreads joy with children's book

A young woman from Kansas City, Kansas, teamed up with Make-A-Wish to brighten the spirits of young children at Wesley Children's Hospital.

“It’s absolutely amazing getting to talk to her and meet her, and especially connecting with someone who’s been in a similar situation as me, definitely makes it feel a little bit easier, less overwhelming, because the hospital gets really scary sometimes,” said Ava Thibodeau, a patient at Wesley Children's Hospital.
