A trip to the hospital can be intimidating, but parents and children at Wesley Children's Hospital have an extra set of hands to guide them through it.

Wesley’s certified child life specialists are helping bring peace of mind to patients and parents alike.

“We help kids and families cope with being in the hospital,” said certified child life specialist Casey Johns. “It can be very traumatic and scary and very stressful. So we are trained to break down medical jargon to help kids understand what they’re here for.”
