Wesley Healthcare surgeons partner with Sedgwick County Zoo to perform surgery

A two-year-old chimpanzee at Sedgwick County Zoo is recovering after sustaining injuries during an altercation with her troop's alpha male.

A specialty surgical team including physicians from Wesley Medical Center joined the zoo’s veterinary staff to perform the procedure at the zoo’s Oliver Animal Hospital.
