Lumpectomy

If you are diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, your doctor may recommend a lumpectomy. A lumpectomy works to remove your cancerous tumor without damaging any healthy breast tissue. This procedure may be performed concurrently with a course of radiation. Typically, treatments are usually given Monday through Friday, for six to seven weeks.

Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT)

Our brachytherapy radiation therapy technology allows us to offer specialized IORT. IORT is a leading-edge system that can deliver the entire course of your radiation therapy during lumpectomy surgery.
